This amazing podcast is an invaluable resource for the North American permaculture community & beyond. Scott’s interviews are both entertaining & information-dense. He has interviewed many of the foremost permaculturists, including David Holmgren, one of the co-originators of the permaculture concept. Scott is also a personal friend of all of Susquehanna Permaculture, having taken his PDC with Ben and Dillon Cruz, the first PDC Ben ever offered.

Ngozi Inc.

This non-profit based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania provides cultural, artistic, & educational opportunities & programs to the African-American 10155191_236966223170728_4937966078980573724_ncommunity in Harrisburg, & serves disenfranchised black youth. I’ve worked with Ngozi to offer PDCs in Harrisburg & to find funding for these youth to participate in permaculture trainings.

Eastern Pennsylvania Permaculture Network

A huge network of permaculturists, farmers, environmentalists & more. They maintain a very useful list-serve.

This organization is bringing permaculture & sustainable ag to the suburbs of Philadelphia. Founder Tom McGlynn took an advanced PDC with Ben & Wilson Alvarez.

Horn Farm Center for Agricultural Education

An excellent organization & education center in York County, only a few miles from the Susquehanna River. I have partnered with them to offer classes and other events.

Black Permaculture Network

I’ve worked with the Black Permaculture Network to offer scholarships to people of color who wish to attend a PDC.

This amazing organization partners with other non-profits to build & tend forest POPgardens all over the city of Philadelphia. I’ve partnered with them to offer classes & I’m very supportive of their work!

The longest-running & best-known permaculture publication in North America. Aa phenomenal resource that has published several articles written by Ben, who studied with Peter Bane, the long-time former publisher of this magazine.

A very well-organized & productive organization that provides broad support for the permaculture movement in Northeastern North America. They host the semi-annual northeast permaculture convergence.
